SHOP.net is the Back Store Smart Client, which can be used both in individual retail shops and in the center of the chain. It provides sales statistics and constantly updated dashboards to monitor activities of any single shop and the entire chain, even if deployed across several continents.

When Retail Web Services are integrated with the central ERP, changes in product and customer data, pricing and promotions are reflected automatically to the point of sale of the shops to which they are addressed; nevertheless it’s always possible to manually enter this information in SHOP.net, both in any individual shop and at the center of the chain, provided that the user has the necessary authorizations.
If a central ERP is limited to accounting and production, and therefore not capable of handling all specific information of a shop, a hybrid management process from ERP and SHOP.net becomes essential.

In some cases SHOP.net may not be present in the store if control of the sales and decisions on assortments and prices are taken elsewhere and you want to reduce duties and fees in the periphery

The main features of SHOP.net include:

A main dashboard that displays sales and margin, in the last 13 months, with monthly, weekly and daily details, and also the best departments, customers and products on different periods.
The chain managers can also see list of shops, sorted by sales and profit margin, in the last 7 days.
This and all other dashboards are continuously updated by the sales data coming from the shops, no matter where they are.

A dual products classification, with two levels each, allows selective extraction of statistics and sales data.
It manages departments/sub-departments, also known as families/sub-families and also a second layer named: types/subtypes, that can be used, for example, for trademarks/brands.
The two classifications are independent and allow cross-searches, otherwise impossible with 4 levels belonging to a single hierarchy.

Products may be of different type including services (intangible articles), kits (product groups) and models with one, two or three variants, plus the season. Prices and promotions can be defined with great flexibility. It is possible to insert information about similar products for up-sell and cross-sell proposal and a dashboard showing monthly sales of individual product, with reference to the product group it belongs to. Printing of labels and products forms, whose layout can be easily defined in a visual way, it’s also supported.

An additional type of "product" is the Gift Card, a kind of prepaid card that a customer buys as a gift for a loved one, who is then free to choose the most pleasant object in the most convenient shop. Centralized management, offered by the Retail Web Services of aKite, allows maximum convenience of use without risk of fraud.

For each loyal customer, who has granted permission, you can track every single sale and then display, on a dashboard, the distribution, compared to the average, of its purchases mapped to   different product categories. Customers can be grouped with specific price conditions, discounts and common promotions, but with the ability to issue special terms and offerings for any individual.

In the central definition of the structure and composition of the chain, you can define groups of shops associated  by language, currency and VAT/tax. Different assortment and lists can be defined for each shop.

All tables, starting from VAT/tax up to the variants, can be updated manually. Convenient graphical editors allow you to change the layout of any document, label or product form and also to create filters to import data from files in standard format like txt, csv and Excel.

The reports allows to see any sales data from any point of view. With a few mouse clicks you can choose the primary sort key, the details and apply filters on product category, period, customer, operator and other data. The result can be further manipulated and exported into Excel.
