The target

The Holding Terra Moretti srl, located in the heart of Franciacorta, is engaged in the construction sector and in the production of wine. The company owns six renowned estates such as: Bellavista and Contadi Castaldi in Franciacorta; Petra, Badiola and Teruzzi&Puthod in Tuscany; Sella&Mosca in Sardinia. In addition to the quality of the products, the group is also known for the architectural quality of the cellars. The points of sale present in each estate were previously managed independently, given the choice to sell only local products. The company’s request was to merge all retail activities and integrate them with their central ERP JDE, aimed at production and wholesale distribution.

The solution

The Cloud-managed POS.net and SHOP.net Front and Back Store Apps ensure reliability and scalability. Thanks to the “Software as a Service” feature of POS.net , during the annual Franciacorta Festival, it is possible to activate new stations only for the period of the event and at a reduced fee .

The results

The company appreciated the lightness and reliability of the software, data the concentration of complexities on the Cloud and the integration with their external software. All points of sale are now able to sell even without an internet connection and to activate new seats without problems. These are useful features both on the occasion of short-term special events and to immediately reactivate the activity after a PC failure. In the case of Terra Moretti, the warehouse and accounting are managed, together with the other activities of the group, by the central ERP. While, retail specific features are managed in parallel on aKite. We have therefore managed to activate an authentic synergy between the software.
